Information for authors – basic rules of reviewing publications in periodicals
	-
Each publication has at least two independent reviewers appointed from an external institution.
-
In case of texts written in a foreign language, at least one of the reviewers is affiliated by a foreign institution from a country different than the nationality of the work’s author.
-
A recommended solution is a model in which author(s) and reviewers do not know their identities (the so-called “double-blind review process”).
-
In other cases, the reviewer must sign the declaration of no conflict of interest; a conflict of interest is: direct personal relationship (kinship, legal relations, conflict), professional subordination, direct scientific cooperation during the last two years preceding the review between the reviewer and the author.
-
The review must be in a written form and end with a clear conclusion concerning the article being accepted for publication or rejected.
-
The rules of publication acceptance or rejection and the review form (if available) are made public on the periodical’s webpage or in every issue of the periodical.
-
Names of reviewers of particular publications/issues are not revealed; once a year a list of cooperating reviewers is made public by the periodical.
